During its General Body Meeting on June 28, 2022, the African American Caucus of the Mecklenburg County Democratic Party (AAC-MCDP) voted to support a Democratic Election Guide for Charlotte municipal candidates in the July 26, 2022 General Municipal Elections.

Our sincerest condolences to the families and friends following the recent deaths of Amaud Arbrey and George Floyd, we call for acknowledgment of and an immediate end to systemic racism plaguing Black America.
